Our Aim

Our aim is to try and provide a home from home environment for the children. Somewhere they can enjoy a choice of breakfast and snacks and provide them with a wide range of both quiet and energetic activities at either end of the school day. 

Food 

We have a wide range of breakfast items on offer including cereals, fresh fruit, toast, bagels, fruit breads and muffins. In the afternoon we offer a variety of hot and cold snacks that include wraps, pizza, beans on toast, yoghurt, fresh fruit and fruit juices.. We are very keen to involve the children in our menu so seek their ideas each week and we actively encourage children to be independent by not only getting their breakfast and snacks but by clearing the table and filling the dishwasher.

Activities

We have so much for the children to do ranging from the classic Guess Who and Battle Ships to playing cards and puzzles. Not only do we have plenty of colouring and drawing resources but also offer regular adult lead art activities. There is a comfy book area, a dolls house and construction toys. The children are encouraged to use their imagination in den building and other games. We have use of the hall and playgrounds where equipment such as the climbing frames, balls, hoops, quick sticks and musical instruments are available.

The above is by no means exhaustive, we are always looking for new activities to engage the children and try very hard to accommodate their ideas as well.
