Uniform is worn at Braunston School to develop a sense of pride in being a member of the school community. This can be purchased from Scallywagz in Daventry:
- Green sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan
- Green or white polo shirt or similar
- Plain dark grey, navy or black trousers, shorts or skirt (plain jogging bottoms are acceptable)
- Sensible shoes/trainers
- Green/white checked or striped cotton dress
PE
Black or navy shorts, a white tee shirt and plimsolls are required for PE and a suitable bag for storage is recommended. All the children will also need a swimming costume and swimming hat for the summer months.
Personal Belongings
Jewellery should not be worn in school. If your child has pierced ears, small studs are permitted. However, these MUST be removed, by the child, for PE.
Nail varnish should not be worn in school.
Name Labels and Lost Property
Please ensure that all items of your children’s school clothing are named. This is particularly important for shoes, sports clothes and school sweatshirts. There is a lost property cupboard for those items that do go astray!
Book Bags
Book Bags are available to buy from Scallywagz in Daventry. These are useful for transporting reading books, homework and correspondence between school and home. Please check your child’s book bag each evening.
